After School Programs

Project Success offers engaging, supportive after-school programs across Vermilion County, IL, designed to inspire learning, foster personal growth, and empower students to achieve their full potential.

Project Success operates after-school programs for K-12 children at 18 schools and one community center in Vermilion County. These programs offer homework assistance, tutoring, and credit recovery. We also sponsor project-based academic enrichment activities, including STEM, literacy, entrepreneurship, arts & music, physical activity, service learning, mentoring, prevention programming, life skills development, youth leadership, college & career readiness, field trips, and more. In addition, Project Success provides students with snacks and meals.

21st Century Learning Centers
After School Program

21st Century Learning Centers serve youth ages 5-18 and operate at the following sites: Project Success at Central Christian Church (serving Garfield, Mark Denman, and Meade Park Elementary Schools), South View Upper Elementary, North Ridge Middle School, Pine Crest Elementary, Mary Miller Junior High, Georgetown-Ridge Farm High School, Maple Elementary, John Greer Elementary, Hoopeston Area Middle School, Hoopeston Area High School, Oakwood Grade School, Oakwood Junior High, Oakwood High School, Judith Giacoma Elementary, and Westville High School. These centers focus on increasing student academic achievement and developing positive social and behavioral skills through project-based academic assistance and enrichment programs. 21st Century Learning Center programs are funded through the Illinois State Board of Education.

Teen Reach After School Program

Teen REACH (Responsibility, Education, Achievement, Caring, and Hope) is an after school program that serves youth ages 8-17. Teen REACH is available at the following sites: Danville High School, Salt Fork South Campus, Salt Fork North Campus, and Westville Junior High. In addition to offering homework help, tutoring, enrichment programing, and service-learning opportunities, Teen REACH teaches students to make positive choices, helps reduce at-risk behaviors, and develops students’ career goals. The Teen REACH program is funded through the Illinois Department of Human Services.
